[FoRMS] Community and Board meeting on Saturday, Nov 23

[Friends of Round Mountain School]

We're meeting again at the Round Mountain Schoolhouse / Community
Center on Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 11:00 AM. The FoRMS board members and
Community Center trustees will discuss a number of issues and topics of
interest to all of us, including setting up rates, rules and
proceedures for renting out the building, and using it for sponsored or
unsponsored public functions.

The center had its first rental for a family reunion on November 9. All
went well, and the family is interested in making this an annual event.

Money is tight. If you like our Community Center, consider joining up
yourself, your company, or your organization as an affiliate member of
the Friends of Round Mountain School for the nominal fee of $20 a year.
Membership will get you a number of perks, still to be discussed, but
which should give you a genuine sense of ownership.

We'd like to thank René Santos and his church for their generous,
ongoing support for the center. They meet every Sunday at 4 PM.
Everyone is welcome.

So please join us again at the Community Center this Saturday, November
23rd, at 11 AM to meet your neighbors and enjoy the hospatility of our
Community Center. Snacks aren't on the program, but if the past is any
guide, delicious cookies will probably be available in abundance! How
many communities in Texas have the luxury of having such a fine local
place to share with our community? A few, but not many. We're lucky.
